INSANITY!!!!!

Okay, so it's been awhile! Let me just tell you why...
I have children in too many sports- two in soccer and one in baseball. Soccer is fine, but baseball consumes my life! This week we have 4 baseball games and one soccer game PLUS Scouts and a field trip. (Preston had his field trip on Friday.) I'm going insane (it's very possible that I've been insane for sometime now). Anyway, that's part of the reason I cannot blog.
Another reason is that my computer is in the dungeon, or basement, as some may call it. It is freezing down here and there are many things for my daughter to get into that are not appropriate for older children (no, it's not porn) let alone babies. She eats EVERYTHING right now. I am an expert at the infant heimlich as I have to use it about every day!!! We are planning to move the computer upstairs this weekend, so hopefully that will help.
Final reason for the lack of blogs is...
I normally do it at night, but I'm too exhausted from going to the gym. Katherine is killing me because she wants to get skinny before she and Michael go to Hawaii next week and she wants to work out every night. My fat butt is not used to this and can hardly move after running a couple of miles each night. This will improve as weight falls from my heinie, but that is not happening as of yet! Let's all pray that it will happen soon. I'm tired of chaffing from my tight warm-weather clothes! I know- TMI. You all should be used to that if you've known me for any length of time!
I love you all, and will post some super fantastic pics in the next few days. I just need to find a little time! TTFN

Miracles still happen

HP readers Beware!!! If you have not read the last book, STOP!!!!! That having been said....
I've been trying to think of a great way to post this. But, I don't think I can put how awesome this is into words...
I have this wonderful friend who has gone through some wretched things lately. Last summer she was having headaches. Medication wasn't helping, so she dealt with the headaches for a few months before the doctors finally decided to send her for an MRI. She had the test and discovered she had a blood clot. They put her on blood thinners and sent her on her merry way hoping the clot would go away. It didn't.
Her headaches got worse. She was hospitalized for a while (she has 4 kids and a husband with MS). They finally figured out she had one more clot PLUS they discovered an aneurism. They told her the aneurism was small and probably wouldn't cause her any trouble. She would also have to be on blood thinners for the rest of her life because it was a genetic trait that was causing her blood to clot. WHOOPEE!
As time went on the clots began to shrink and her headaches got better. She was really starting to feel "normal" again. Then, her neurologist hit her with the bomb. He had been looking at the aneurism and realized if it ruptured, she would be dead because of the blood thinners. So, basically, she either had to have brain surgery or die when the aneurism ruptured. How fun. We had a ward fast for her so she and her husband could make the right decision. I was praying CONSTANTLY for her. I mean, this is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met, she HAS to live! This fast was a little over a month ago.
Well, last week she went to see the surgeon about the surgery. She had a new scan a few days before the appointment and was going to tell him she had decided to go through with it. He then informed her that he could not find the aneurism ANYWHERE!!! It was gone! AMAZING!! That is the greatest thing I have heard in forever (even better than when I found out that Harry Potter wasn't really dead in the last book)!
I just need to say that this work is true. We DO have a Heavenly Father who loves us and is mindful of our needs. Prayer and fasting works. We can make it through these times and trials, we just have to remember where to put our trust. We can't make it all by ourselves! I totally needed to witness this miracle, it has given me strength and the faith I need to keep on truckin'!

Teeny Bopper Tendencies

Why is this crap so addictive?! I do not have time to sit and mess with this stupid site, but I NEED it to survive somehow. It is not, of course, replacing my need for Coca Cola, but just requiring me to drink more of it. I am getting no fricking sleep tonight! (But check out my fresh jams on my playlist! I am so super FLY!) People with addictive tendencies should be prohibited from blogging, and in my case, Harry Potter! (OR High School Musical, Enchanted, and Hannah Montana.) Yes, I have serious issues with things of the teeny bopper nature. I'm so glad I finally have a girl so I will (hopefully) have some company when I watch all of my ridiculous shows (and belt out all of their wonderful music selections)! With my luck, though, she will think her mother is a gigantic fool just like her brothers do!

I am not a blogger

For all of you pro bloggers out there, I am not one of you. I don't know what I am doing so don't expect much. One day, however, I will be an expert at this and will smoke all of you at my expert blogability (new word, you can't look it up yet. You will have to update your spellcheck!) Anyway, the reason I have not blogged so far is because I am fat. I have decided that all bloggers are skinny and can use their spare time blogging while we portly people spend our limited child-free time at the gym! That is my hypothesis and you will have to wait to see my clinical notes as I am still in the process of uncovering all of the facts! I am sure, however, that my theory will be correct. Anyone who knows me will attest to the fact that I am rarely wrong.

Please stay tuned for more exciting points of veiw.

Love to you all!
Sarah
