Amazing Skills!

I've been wondering what extraordinary talents I have that I have yet to discover. I feel that I was a little shorted when the special gifts were given out up in Heaven. Oftentimes I am sad, sometimes a little bitter, because the creativity just does not flow through these veins.

Well no more!!!!!!

Tonight I was looking through some of my things I have stashed from my childhood and I stumbled upon something AMAZING! I have been hiding my light under a bushel for too long now! I am an amazing photographer!!! Even as a young girl, I had mad skills!

I can't believe I actually made my poor sisters pose for this!! Check out the table with the flowers! Doesn't Kacey look absolutely thrilled to be there?! I think we all know WHY I have not followed with a career in photography! Oh well, I guess I will still keep looking for that undiscovered talent!

No More Soccer!!!

Well, soccer has ended. Can we say HALLE-frieking-LUJAH?! Now we just have baseball! I am so glad! I took a couple of pics of Adam's last game. He really does enjoy playing sports! I'm so proud of him and how hard he tries at everything he does!

But I'm still glad soccer is over!

Early Mother's Day

Today was crazy! Abbie didn't stop crying all day long! (Well except for when we got to the doctor. You all know how that goes!) Anyway, she has an ear infection even though she's been on antibiotics for a sinus infection for 10 days already. Now, I get to have her on another one for 10 more days!!! Loooverly!

Anyway, while I was at Target (cheers in the background) getting her prescription, Campbell came home from school. Lain was home with the kids doing his bids. Apparently Cam had a present for me and opened it upon arrival. He made it at school and was so proud of it, he had to promptly put it on the refrigerator! Here it is....

Why is it that when your kids look the very "nicest" teachers take pictures for keepsakes. Inevitably, my child will be in some holy pants, stained shirt, or have some awful Spider Man shirt on. In this particular picture, Cam is wearing a hand-me-down sweatshirt and his hair is so shaggy! Oh well! I will still love this thing until I die! (Probably even after that!)

Dictation

My son had a spelling test a couple of weeks ago. After they are finished with their spelling words, they have dictation sentences. I think Adam misunderstood the teacher... Not only did we forget the "r" on "brother," the word after it appears to be misspelled too! I bet the teacher was cracking up when she read that! You gotta love second graders!!!

Bathtime With Brothers

I hope this doesn't creep anyone out, but Abbie had a bath with her brothers last night. She loves baths and they were taking one, so I let her in. As she is my only girl, I am not sure whether this is appropriate or not. It sure did save me time, though! And she had a BLAST! She loves bubbles and the rubber duck. Her brothers thought she was hilarious! So, aside from the possible inappropriateness, it was a good time to be had by all!

Cam's haircut

I know I just posted the pics of Abbie, but I had to post a picture of Campbell after we cut all of his hair off. It was soooooo long, but had no more curl left in it. He actually looks blonde again! Can you believe how much hair that was?! Check out those gorgeous green eyes! I love my Cam-Cam!

I made a tutu for Lain's cousin's baby and of course Abbie had to model it. Doesn't it remind you of Fantasia? She definitely takes after her mother!!!!
